We currently have a vacancy for a renewals administrator ideally with at least 1 year’s experience of patents and/or trade marks renewals to support a busy team. You should possess exceptional attention to detail and be able to work under your own initiative as well as in a team structure. In addition good communication and interpersonal skills are required. Knowledge of the “Inprotech” system would be highly desirable, together with a good working knowledge of British, European and foreign renewal procedures.
The ideal candidate should possess English, and Mathematics, at minimum Grade C GCSE (or equivalent) and have basic IT/Microsoft Word knowledge.
The role reports to a departmental manager and involves:
• The generation of renewal reminders;
• Attending to renewal payments;
• Processing payment receipts and forwarding invoices to clients;
• Maintaining and updating a diary and database.
The role will be based in our offices at 12 Fulwood Place, London, WC1V 6HR. As at early July 2021, the role is currently performed on a working from home basis, due to Government guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic – once the Government revises its advice on home working, the role will revert to requiring some attendance in the office, but will also allow some working from home to continue - details to be discussed and agreed on an individual basis with the candidate. Salary for the role is dependent on experience. Hours are 35 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Holidays - 25 days (pro rata) in the first year increasing by 1 day each year thereafter up to a maximum of 30 days.
